RAIN, RAIN … Go AWAY!
It is still raining hard here and the last lightening/thunder strike just happened at 10:10 am … policy states we have to wait at least half an hour after the LAST lightening strike. So be patient, we'll be back soon!
STORM DELAY
As we suspected, the storms are moving in and lightening struck about 7 miles from the test site. We have suspended the test for the time being … stay tuned!
Day Three of the National Derby Championship
Good morning! We will be returning again to the Hayden's Wood Dale Farm. Our forecast for today is RAIN, sprinkled with a few thunderstorms. We are hoping not, but we may have to suspend operations for safety reasons due to the 90% chance of thunderstorms. Stay tuned. We will have a slightly later start today with the test dogs running at 7:30 am and the first running dog, #30, soon after that.

A Quick Rebird
Series One – Test Update
The conditions are excellent with the sun behind us and a gentle cross wind. The guns are very visible. There is a wide open field between the guns. The dogs have to manage a slope on the backside of the levee on the way to the right bird. The wind has died down considerably.
NO -- WAIT -- it's pouring again and the temperature is dropping.
